WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
1 Vintage Wooden Coke Crate (with the 24 square dividers)
Eye Hooks
Green ball ornaments (that fit into the squares)
1 wooden star cut out
Tack
Metal Ornament hooks
Red ribbon (optional)
Scissors (optional)
Picture hanging hook (optional)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
The first step is to install your eyehooks. Stand your vintage wooden coke crate up on one of the short ends. You will have four squares on the bottom.
Install one eyehook on the top inside of each bottom square. Just screw it into place.
Now, repeat this on the next row up on the vintage wood coke crate.
Now, on the third row up only install an eyehook on the two middle squares.
Repeat this on the fourth row up.
Now, you should have two empty rows on the vintage wood coke crate. They should be the top two rows.
Now, turn the vintage wooden coke crate over so that it is laying face down on your work surface. Install a picture-hanging hook on the back. You will definitely want to hang this neat vintage Christmas craft on the wall!
Now, paint your wooden star cut out yellow. When the paint dries rub some gel wood stain on it to give it a vintage look that matches your coke crate.
Tip: Look for a pre cut wooden star at your local craft store that is about 4 inches tall.
You can rough the star up with some sand paper.
